La Crescent Citizen should be easy to read and use for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers or larger text.
What we do
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and level AAA where practical.
- Article text is set larger than usual, and you can make it larger still with the A+ button at the top of every page.
- Every page works with a keyboard, and every photo in our stories has a text description.
- The site works with browser zoom up to 200 percent and supports a dark reading mode.
